Mrs. Nevenka Ferlin used to be in charge of making the costume in Žminj and Cere region, followed by Grozdana Radolović. Female national costume consists of: bičve (woollen hand-knitted socks), fačuol/fačol (female headscarf), stomanja (female shirt), zaprežić (apron), modrna/carza/rašnica (female dress made of woven sheep wool) and kanica (a belt which kept “modrna” in place).

Male traditional costume consists of: škafuoni/škafunice (woollen hand-knitted white socks), cokule (wooden shoes, traditional clogs), bargeši/brageše/banavreke (male trousers made of sheep wool), jaketa (jacket sewn from black lamb wool), kružat (male dark brown waistcoat, made of sheep wool) and klobučić/klabuk/bareta (a male hat usually from the same material and of the same colour as the waistcoat).
