Besides the earrings, one can also buy the Žminj ring. All of these jewellery pieces are made out of silver and gold, featuring different designs and looks and resembling the original archaeological pieces.
The original jewellery pieces are kept in Pula’s Archaeological Museum of Istria and are protected and listed on the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia. Today’s versions of earrings and rings are customized and modernized, promoting Žminj, Istria and Croatia. The earring found in the old necropolis belonged to Croatian settlers in Žminj, who lived here under the rule of the Franks in the 9th and 10th century.
